A Perfect Fit: Finding the Right IT Support

What does it mean to have perfect IT Support? At Kyvon we believe it is defined differently by each client.

It is why we have worked to develop a method of customizing IT Support  in order to meet the specific needs of our clients. This is not easy. However, we feel it is necessary. Technology is evolving so quickly, in so many directions, and at so many different levels, that our clients really depend on a solution that is ‘perfect’ for them. Perhaps, that is the definition of  the perfect IT Support: “Customizable”!

With this being said, an issue we often face in developing the right IT fit for a client is: how do we offer something that is not yet defined? And, perhaps, cannot be well defined from a client’s limited understanding of technology. Almost as a patient telling the performing surgeon how best to cut into him, or her!

Well, we start with a few basic questions:

1. What do you want to accomplish?

2. What are issues you are currently experiencing?

3. How dependent is your industry/business model on IT? Or rather, how comfortable are you with the “Information Technology Era”?

From here we want to establish a “win-win” scenario. In order to do this we need to develop trust with our clients. If the client is not familiar, or comfortable, with technology it is difficult to provide them with a solution that WE simply see as being ‘perfect’. It’s like the fable of explaining an elephant to a blind man. Now, imagine selling the elephant to the blind man! Kyvon has worked to develop a legal contract and standard workflow process that will provide our clients with a process of transparency and definition of terms. So, if you don’t understand how your solution works, at least your lawyer will understand how your investment is protected!
