Work Together: IT and Your Small Business

I feel the most pertinent issue faced in introducing and supporting IT in ‘the office’ is encouraging a generation that is still evolving into email, web browsing and online payment at home- to implement technology into their daily operations at work.

Some feel so inundated with information and instant communication, that an antiquated office can almost act as a sanctuary to escape to.

My family business, who has made considerable advances in IT (relative to its industry) struggled with developing and rationalizing the resources it felt necessary to compete in the developing IT Era. It’s a difficult transition and requires a “paradigm shift”. We have experienced other paradigm shifts in our past: Hunting and Gathering to Agricultural; Agricultural to Industrial, and now, Industrial to Information.

One only needs to read the newspaper to find how Information Technology is not only changing the marketplace, but leveling the field for the smaller independents that compete with Corporate America, and a Global Economy, for their very survival. Technology is becoming the necessary evil!

Kyvon hopes to baptize you in its waters of transparency, encouragement and support. We would like to invite you to experience our IT services. No, Kyvon is not a cult. But, we hope you liken it to a religous experience!

From the front lines, this is Bart Beyers reporting.
